The number of new COVID-19 cases reported in Kendall this week is up compared to last week. The Kendall County Health Department says there were 398 new cases reported this week compared to 349 the previous week.

One more person died in the county from COVID-19 bringing the total up to 120.

The county's test positivity rate is at 8.4 percent. 60 percent of the county's population is considered to be fully vaccinated. There have been a total of 18,680 COVID-19 cases in Kendall County.

In DeKalb County, there have been 13,895 cases and 141 deaths. The LaSalle County Health Department is reporting 16,005 total cases and 357 deaths. Kane County is report 74,084 cases and 902 deaths.
